Hotel Reservation

Arrangements have been made by JTB ( Japan Travel Bureau ) for a wide variety of accommodation to be available in downtown Osaka.

Please reserve your hotel via the JTB web site by yourself.

If you cannot access to WWW, you may use this form. Fill in the form and fax it to JTB.

Although the deadline is July 1, 2000, you are encouraged to make a hotel reservation as early as you can so that your first choice can be honored.

Please note that all participants are requested to make their own reservation directly with JTB. The conference secretariat does not handle accommodation.

 

Official Travel Agent

The Japan Travel Bureau, Inc. has been appointed as the Official Travel Agent for the Conference and will handle all related travel arrangements including hotel accommodation.

• The deposit of 10,000 JPY will be deducted when settling the bill with the hotel.
• Single: 1-bed Room,   Twin: 2-bed Room

Please reserve your hotel by using the JTB web reservation page.
Hotel assignment will be made of a first come, first served basis. If your desired hotel (1st and 2nd choice) is already fully occupied, we will reserve for you another hotel instead.
 

Cancellation

If you want to cancel your hotel, a written notification should be sent directly to JTB. The deposit will be refunded, but the following cancellation fees will be charged depending on when the notification is received by  JTB.

• At least 9 days before the first night    ...............   1,000 JPY per room
• 2-8 days before the first night            ................    20% of the daily room charge (minimum 2,000 JPY)
• One day before the first night            ................    50% of the daily room charge
• The same day, or no notice given      ................    100% of the daily room charge
